Nicky teaches the New Entrant class at Burnham School. She has been teaching at Burnham School for the past eight years at various levels within the school. She has had many roles prior to this, including working in a bank, travel agent, swim tutor and mum. She and her husband have two sons, both currently based in Wellington. Nicky loves socialising with her group of friends and walks regularly. She enjoys family adventures and boating trips. Nicky believes in allowing children to make meaning from their world through a hands-on approach, giving them opportunities to explore and understand how the world works. She is passionate about literacy and the doors this opens.
