I am excited to be teaching at Te Kura O Tiori, Burnham School. 

I am looking forward to providing innovative and exciting programmes for my classes. I have taught in many schools in Canterbury and am committed to facilitating learning for all in a connected, positive and supportive way.

My teaching passion lies in the Social Sciences and have specialised in this area as well as working through tertiary studies in Gifted and Talented programmes.

Out of school I am a mum to 2 grown children, Mitchell and Brittany. Spending time with family is super important to me and I enjoy being with my children. I live in Methven with Ian. 

Being back where I grew up means I have more time with my mum and sister which is great having been away from the area for many years. I am a keen reader, coffee drinker and gardener. I strive to have a garden with no weeds!
