We are busy with a lot of sports at the moment with the recent cross country and fun run being completed.

We were super impressed with the amount of children that gave the cross country a try on Thursday.  Despite it being optional this year, we still had a lot of children attempt this.  The distance was 1500m for the Year 3/4 children and congratulations to Jessica S, Wyatt M, Charlotte W and Conrad D. For the Year 5/6 children the distance was 2200m and again congratulations to Jordan D, Lachlan B, Lusi N and Sophia M.  The Year 7/8 children had to run 3000m and well done to Skyla-Paige M, Manaia D, Emily D and Ratu N.  

We also had our fun run and that was an awesome experience for all the children to be apart of.  

We are continuing with our Tuesday sport and we are now focussed on the Yr 5 to 8 football tournament in which we have entered a Yr 5/6 team and a Yr 7/8 team.

Something else to be aware of for the Yr 7/8s is the Koru Games in Term 3.  We will be attempting to defend our table tennis title and training for this has already started.  Special thanks to Sarah and Pauline for their coaching.
