Hats, water bottles, healthy lunches, Pet Day, School Athletics, Selwyn Zones Competition, technology, Food Technology, Cultural Lessons with our Chinese Sister School, Xinjin Middle School in Chengdu, Leadership activities for Integrity Awards, Science Road Show, Year 8 Fun Day Out, sausage sizzles, out door trips - fun in the sun, its going to be a cracker of a term!
What a wonderful start to the term seeing the Hauwhenua Hub coming together to talk about the wonderful learning, activities and whole school events for Term 4.
Summer is upon us so all students must wear a hat outside and please make sure your child has a drink bottle and a healthy lunch.
Year 7/8's are excited to be starting Food technology this term. Food technology is not just about cooking, students also learn food formulation, food safety and legislation, food production, food packaging and labelling and food product testing.
Year 4/5/6 start their exciting DDPO Technology Unit this term focusing on using the technological design process the children will research, design, and build then present a conceptual water park idea with the future focus on physical activity and Hauora for children and youth.
