Yesterday on Tuesday 10 November, we had a group of 15 Year 5-8 students from Waiouru School visit us to share their sign language songs to our whole school.

We were all impressed with this sign language skills and not to mention the great choice of songs. Sign language is one of the official three languages of New Zealand, and it was fabulous to be able to host this group today.  It was also lovely to see some of their students and staff connect with others' who had previously been at Burnham School and also some of our students who have come from Waiouru School over the last few years.
