" The best zoom was dressing up. I dressed up as a Kayaker. It was fun that I could do something that was like the Olympics, " said KJ.

The Kiwi and Kereru children have had a lot of fun zooming over the lockdown! We have had a daily theme for our chats. 

This week we have played Truth or Trick, Detective, Guess the Sound, and Memory so far. It has been fantastic for the children to see their friends and share what they have been doing at home or just see friendly faces they have missed. 

There have also been lovely conversations around daily walks, showing off pets and sharing pictures that have been drawn. 

The children have come organised to chat and have learnt how to use the features of zoom such as muting themselves and using emojis and the chat tool to type messages to everyone. 

We are very proud of the brilliant self-managers they are becoming! Also, it has been great to see and hear the children showing Manaakitanga in their positive interactions with others - kind words, chats, waves and thumbs up.
