This week, the Year 5-8 tauira headed to the inaugural North Canterbury Korfball Tournament. The kids had lots of fun, fitness and success!

On Tuesday, we headed to the Mainpower Stadium to compete in the Korfball Tournament. We have trained with the korfball coaches off and on over the last two years so it was great to share our skills with other kura! The tauira played their hearts out all day from 9:30am - 2:30pm, enjoying playing as a team and learning from the other schools. Our Year 5/6 team did really well, coming 3rd overall in their grade out of 8 teams! Our year 7 and Year 8 teams worked hard against the other teams and really enjoyed their day. A real highlight was having Jayde, Mikaere and Ruby picked out as top players for the day, with Mikaere and Ruby being asked to join a training team next term.
