Following recent community consultation hui at the Marae, the Waimakariri District Council are in the process of finalising plans with contractors about the proposed works.  

To our understanding, proposed changes include reducing the speed limit on Tuahiwi Road to 40kms from the Urupā to Bramley's Road and marking the road in those places with bright red, narrowing the road in selected areas, and raising the height of the road crossing opposite the Pre School to 10cm (which will make it like a road bump). 

The works might have an affect on pick up and drop off options for our whānau.  Please take extra care around these areas while the road works take place.
