We welcome back Whaea Gaby for the Puaka Year 3 -5 class.

Kia ora e te whānau,

For those of you who don’t know me,  my name is Gabrielle, also know as Whaea G to the wonderful tamaiti at this amazing kura. This is my second year at Tuahiwi and I am thrilled to be part of such a wonderful kura.

I’ll be working Monday-Thursday with Whaea Anita working in our class on a Friday.

I am married and have two children; Ethan who is an apprentice plumber, and Sarah who is off to ARA to study architecture.

I have a gorgeous wee dog named Teddy and prior to teaching I was a senior lab technician in Microbiology.

I’ve taught at a few schools and loved all of the learning and teaching I've been able to do.

I enjoy walking, love the cold, especially snow and spending time with my family.
