We have noticed an increase in ākonga not wearing our correct school uniform to school and need to tidy this up please.

At Tuahiwi we pride ourselves on upholding our school values by wearing the correct school uniform. This helps our tamariki to identify as a Tuahiwi ākonga and feel apart of a wider and deeper kaupapa. It also looks much tidier when we have visitors or are on a trip outside of the kura. 

We have noticed that non school regulation hoodies and pants are being worn more and more often. 

We would really appreciate it if you would tautoko us in supporting the tamariki to wear the correct uniform. 

With so many options including a hoodie and soft shell jacket, we hope we are catering for a variety of tastes within our ākonga community. Other options include; 

Black Shorts/Pants/Tights/Skirt

Tuahiwi School Polo

Tuahiwi School Hoodie or Jacket

If you are having trouble with purchasing uniform please let us know. You can pay the uniform off in the office if you need to, this can be set up with Berniece.
