The Board of Trustees are pleased to confirm that from Term 2 2024, Te Kura o Tuahiwi will have our own dedicated bus service.

This is due to our continued roll growth, our Special Character designation and to tautoko some of our whānau who are finding it a challenge to get their tamariki to Kura each day.

The statistics show that Kura who provide transport to their whānau have better attendance rates. It is really important for us that there are no barriers for our tamariki to attend Te Kura o Tuahiwi, so we are thrilled that we have been able to secure funding to be able to offer this service to you and your tamariki to help alleviate any pressures around transport.

We are still finalising the details of the bus routes, as there is a lot of area to cover from Pegasus, Woodend, Rangiora and Kaiapoi.

We will have more details for you at the start of Term 1 2024, but just wanted to let you know that this is happening and we’re very excited to be able to have this service start up.
