At hui-ā-kura on a Friday we celebrate our ākonga who are embodying the uara of our kura with tiwhikete. Some ākonga receive one for whanaungatanga- mahitahi, working together. Others get one for rangatiratanga- leadership and making great learning choices.

We also give them a kōrero tautoko once they have received their tiwhikete. Ask your tamariki what these are and what the mahi-ā-ringa is to go with it. Pāia!
