Feedback with Mel
It is important for whānau and ākonga to be able to give feedback to us so that we can continue to make improvements to what and how we operate at kura.
One of our strategic focus areas is partnership. I feel this has started well for us - my sense is that whānau feel a good connection to our kura and that kaimahi have partnered strongly for the beginning of the year. It has perhaps been more difficult for whānau with additional time offsite during COVID but for some this is what has strengethend the partnership.
There are initiatives underway that are designed to get whānau connected and we will continue to work on these together. One of these initiatives is to collect whānau voice.
During the Learning Progression hui times Mel will be in the reception area available to kōrero with whānau, please feel free to pop in for a kōrero before or after your hui time. She will have the cake, if you bring the kōrero. :)
Whānau are a vital part of the education partnership and we appreciate your engagement with us. The increasing stream of enrolment queries for places at Tuahiwi is directly related to positive talk in the wider community as well as the dedicated and talented pool of kaiako we have.
Tuesday 30th June 3pm-5pm and Wednesday 1st July please feel free to meet Mel in the reception area to kōrero.
