On Tuesday 25 October, Te Pā o Rākaihautū and myself- Whaea Dot, Acting tūmuaki of 'Te Kura o Tuahiwi' were welcomed with open arms with a powhiri at our beautiful marae, 'Maahunui 2' by our lovely Tuahiwi whānau.

In week 4 we have our learning progression hui where whānau are invited to come in to discuss your child's progress from throughout the year. This term our kaiako wi be available by appointment only. Please use the link in the article to make a time.

Today our Tamariki from Whitireia had an amazing opportunity to attend Frozen in Te Reo Māori at Northlands Hoyts.

What a great start to the miniball season. We have 2 teams of year 3 and 4 players.

Yesterday Piwaka went on a class haerenga to Ōruapaeroa to learn more about mahinga kai in Ōtautahi.

On Thursday, the 20th of October, Puaka travelled to Huria Reserve in Kaiapoi to partake in a Planting Day as part of their Kaupapa this term, Māhinga Kai. Whilst at the reserve the tamariki engaged in various planting activities;
