With a teacher only day on Mane and Ara Ako hui on Tūrei of last week, ākonga were excited to get back to kura and into their new akomanga. We started the day together preparing for the pōwhiri to welcome our new ākonga.

Our pōwhiri was led by the Taumata from our marae and we welcomed the new ākonga, their whānau and a couple of new kaimahi too. 

We are so proud of the way our 'OG' ākonga showed manaakitanga through offering friendship and setting up as well. He poho kererū mātou of their rangatiratanga in our kura waiata tautoko!
