Kia ora te whānau

Lots of tamariki have expressed an interest in playing basketball for Tuahiwi this term. The competition begins on the 28 February and runs until the 3 April - a total of 6 weeks. Cost per player would be $30.

This is a Friday evening commitment where we would need proactive whānau who are willing to manage the tamariki on the bench, rotate the subs and support the team. If you or a whānau member such as a big brother or sister can help coach, please let me know! Games are played at various locations at various times in North Canterbury - for example Woodend School, Southbrook School and the like.

The draw and uniforms will be available from kura and I will make sure everyone has a copy of playing times and locations each week.

If this is something you would like your tamaiti to be involved in and can offer support to the team on a Friday night, please fill in the slip below. This will be a no pay no play activity as the cost is too high for the kura to cover. We need 8-10 players per team to make this viable.

The application to play is due this Friday, so please be prompt with your reply.
