If your child/ren are going to be absent from kura, it is really important that you let the office know not just the kaiako. This is for both us and you to make sure everyone is safe and at school.

Sometimes our kaiako may be away on release or sick and are unable to pass messages on to the office - To stop this happening, we are asking that all absences/lateness is directed to us through the options below.

Our kaiako will complete the roll by 9.30am, if you are arriving late please pop into the office so we can update the roll. 

Before 10am we will from now on email (not text) all whānau that have not contacted us to report an absence. 

If we do not get a reply or notification from you, your child will be marked on the role as truant for that day. 

The role is a legal requirement and must be completed by us everyday.
