As we welcome Whāea Awhina back to our Kura as the Tau 3-5 Kaiako in Pīwaka, we have seen Whāea Jess move out of the classroom and into what is known as a 'walking role'.  

This means Whāea Jess will not have a class room of her own, but will be teaching in different classrooms each day of the week running a 'Creatives Programme'. 

With a particular interest in art and creative pursuits, Whāea Jess will teach an Arts learning programme that is based around the creative passions and innovative thinking for our tamariki across our kura.

Each Thursday Whāea Jess will release Whāea Mel in her Kāhui Ako lead Principal role, when Mel will be working alongside Bruce Kearney at Kaiapoi High School.
