Tuahiwi Office - May 28, 2023
This event is designed as an obstacle course type run where the tamariki can practice running longer distances in preparation for when they take part in the tuakana cross country at Year 5.
Some of the obstacles on the course were zigzagging around poles, hurdle jumping and mat crawling!
All of our kura uara were on display on this day - we had lots of tuakana from Kererū and Ruru supporting our teina around the course and all of the tamariki who participated tried their very best and gave it their all. Poho kererū!He mihi nui ki ngā kaimahi katoa i āwhina mai mō te kaupapa pārekareka.
A special mention to Whaea Nush who spent most of her lunchtime setting the course up with our tuakana.
He mihi nui hoki to all of our whānau who came to tautoko their tamariki during the race. Kei runga noa atu!
