Kia ora koutou,
Mana Ake are beginning a “Whānau Drop- In'' service here at Kura, run by Nadia Dick, one of their experienced kaimahi. Nadia is a trained counsellor.
These sessions will be held once a month on a Thursday between 1-3pm. The first Drop in Service will be held on Thursday 13th August 2020, followed by another session on the 3rd of September. There will be 3 x 40 minute confidential sessions available each time. If you would like to book a session please let Berniece in the office know and she will book you in. The sessions will be on a first come first served basis. The Drop-In service is a chance for whānau to have a one to one 40 minute session to talk about any parenting issues you might be having and seek advice or guidance on anything that might be worrying or concerning you.
Mana Ake are a team of professionals working in both schools and the wider community, promoting wellbeing and mental health in primary schools across Canterbury.
