In Week 3 this term we went to Woodend Christian Camp with Pūkeko. This integrates with our school wide kaupapa this term: Pai Ake (Better than Before) which celebrates our kura values of Rangatiratanga and Puāwaitanga.

On Day One we started the adventure by spending the morning at Woodend Beach. After we had relocated and unpacked our bunkrooms at camp, we got into the activities. We completed the Waterslide, the Bungee Jump and the Flying Fox. While we were on camp we all climbed, jumped, slid and flew faster than ever before. This was really special for the Tau 2 tamariki in our whānau. It was the first time they had ever been on camp, and that made it feel like we were being even extra special brave!
