On Saturday we had two teams competing in the Canterbury Adventure Race. The start line for 6 and 9-hour teams was at the Pines Kairaki Community Centre, Pines Beach, which is where last year’s event finished. The 3-hour start-line was at White’s Crossing Picnic Area, to the west of the Waimakariri Motorway Bridge when driving north. All events finished at the Pines Kairaki Community Centre. The senior team competing in the 6 hour event consisted of  Isla McPherson, Oscar Lochore, Emma Cunningham and Kaleb Sinclair-Dockerill.

The junior team members competing in the 3 hour event were Dustin Rowlands, Liberty Lochore and Cerys McGuinniety. 

Well done teams, it looked like a lot of fun!
