Sam Partington and Dustin Rowlands are a winning combination

Sam Partington and Dustin Rowlands represented Darfield at the Junior North Island Schools Mounted Games Championships at Equifest in Taupo on the 28th October. It was a hard fought competition, coming down to a tiebreaker to find first and second. Sam and Dustin won the tie breaker to become the champions. Unfortunately the Schools trophy can only be awarded to the top North Island School, but regardless Sam and Dustin were still the champions.

Sam and Dustin also competed in the NZ Mounted Games Association National Individual Championships while up north, with Sam Champion in Under 12 and Dustin 3rd in Under 15.
