Japanese Immersion Camp at Smylies Accommodation
Feedback from the students
First of all, I want to say Thank you to you Hayakawa sensei because we had a chance to get to know more about Japanese table manners, Japanese words and many more. It was so much fun, and I enjoyed it so much because I have my friends with me and learned a lot. I was sad that we only stayed there for a short period, but it was fun, and I wish to go there again sometimes.
The food is also good and yummy. I want to try more Japanese food sometime; they are so kind there. The accommodation is also beautiful and clean. It was one of the happiest days of my life 😀 Thank you so much! Vanessa Balong-Angey (Y13)
I enjoyed the traditional Japanese food for dinner and breakfast it was delicious. I also enjoyed playing the games sensei had set out for us. James Clarke (Y12 )
The camp is so fun because I get to know more about Japanese culture and spend the remaining time with my friends playing Uno. I also love the Japanese food that they serve. Thank you.. Veronica Balong-Angey (Y12)
For two years in a row, I've gone to Smileys accommodation in Springfield for a camp with our Japanese class, this year was really fun. We played a bunch of fun games and played uno for the majority of the night, we watched Shrek and ate some delicious Japanese food. This year, the camp was very relaxing, and Smylie's hosts who are Keiko san and Colin san were amazing in helping us out thank you again to Keiko san and Colin san to have and look after us.
