Business Students’ Young Enterprise Pitches
As part of the Young Enterprise Scheme, last week, three Business Studies groups pitched their business ideas and plans to a panel of three judges at Rolleston College.
All three groups were understandably nervous about their pitches but all completed the task well and to a high level. Some of them even came out of the experience smiling.
The three student companies pitching were: Carry for a Cause who are creating a tote bag designed by children and supporting the Ronald McDonald House, Flatter’s Kitchen who are creating a cookbook targeted at young adults flatting and Chew Champs who are creating a dog toy made from upcycled materials and are supporting the training of service dogs.
This means that two of the challenges of the Young Enterprise Scheme have now been completed and next term there will be a focus on production and selling. Look out for these awesome products on sale in Term 3.
