Dual Enrolment Whānau 'Early Bird' Enrolment Evening

Tuesday 23 August and Thursday 25 August at 6:00 PM in the DHS Staffroom.

Course selection for 2023 is presently taking place and dual enrolment is open! Parents and caregivers and their students who are serious about applying for a dual enrolment option in 2023 are warmly invited to an 'Early Bird' enrolment evening at 6:00PM in the DHS Staffroom on either Tuesday, 23 August, or Thursday, 25 August, hosted by the Careers team. (Students that have previously completed their dual enrolment applications do not need to attend either of these evenings.) DHS supports students to study at Ara Institute of Canterbury, National Trade Academy, Avon City Training Services, and Vision College for one to two days per week in a course that aligns with their pathway(s) beyond school. However, students wishing to formalise their enrolment for the DHS Agriculture Academy will have the opportunity to do so later in Term 3, but must register their intention through the course selection portal by selecting 11DUAL. Students that have registered their interest for any of the five dual enrolment options were previously sent all relevant programme information. Queries? Please feel free to contact the Careers Advisor or Careers Administrator at careers@darfield.school.nz.
