Girls Cricket Coaching

Liam Ffoulkes from Canterbury Country Cricket delivered four sessions to 34 of our year 7 and 8 girls.  This was a mixture of fun drills and fast paced games, working on having fun with friends and being active.

Roll on Term 4, where we look forward to the Cricket Cup and Shield Games for our Juniors.

Canterbury Interschools Showjumping and Showhunter Championships 2023

The Darfield High School Show Jumpers show off their skills yet again in the pouring rain.

Darfield High School entered two teams into the South Island Secondary School's Show Jumping competition this year. Our students rode in tough conditions - pouring rain and freezing winds - but worked hard to get their horses safely around a slippery course

Darfield Maroon - Jade Wills (105), Alissa Slaven (95), Riley Slaven (85) and Emily Smith (85) - made a great effort coming 2nd overall.

Darfield Blue - Cru Walker-Neil (105), Shiloh Bailey (95), Mele Bonner-Vaitaki (85) and Angel Hulston (85) - also worked well in the challenging conditions managing to come away with 11th overall.
