UC Accommodation Applications are now open and other important UC dates.

Careers Administrator —

Year 13 students can now apply for their selected Halls of Residence if they are planning to study and live at UC in 2025. Applications are due by 25 September, with Common Confidential Reference Forms (CCRFs) due by 15 September.

UC's halls of residence combine academic support, social events, and activities into a unique student experience.

You and your students can find more information about accommodation and the application process by following this link; https://www.canterbury.ac.nz/life/accommodation/halls-of-residence/about-uc-halls-of-residence/applying-for-a-hall-of-residence/apply-for-a-hall-of-residence

Local students can enjoy similar social and support benefits that those in halls have by joining UC’s UniLife programme while living at home or flatting.

The purpose of this programme is to create a sense of belonging by making friends and connecting with others, knowing about and navigating University services, and developing essential skills to support academic success.

UniLife is a great option if students want to minimise accommodation costs while studying, but still have fun and receive mentoring from current students.

Just a reminder that scholarship applications are due by 15 August - see more details here.
