Senior Girls and Boys team updates.

The DHS Senior Girls Basketball Team is going well this season. 2023 has seen us welcome new players to the team and we have a new uniform. We are nearly halfway through the season and have come away with 2 great wins. Each and every team member has scored a basket this season with a couple of awesome 3 pointers being put up.A huge congratulations to everyone in the team for stepping up as a team player and representing DHS, and our sponsor, Accessman, with pride. Thank you to the parents and our coaches who come week in and week out to support us. 

The DHS Lincoln University Thomson Trophy Basketball team is doing us proud on Tuesday nights as they hit the court against teams that test their resilience and ability to play as a team. The boys have stepped up week in and week out and developed their skills. It’s a huge commitment for the boys, their coach, and families who drive from one side of Christchurch to the other to support the team. A huge thank you to their coach, Dean Serra, who keeps pushing the boys to be better and work hard. We are super proud of all the boys!
