On Friday 12 August the Year 10 Japanese class went on a trip to Villa Maria. We watched Kendo skills and did quizzes about Japanese culture, food and facts. Kendo is a Japanese martial art. We sang Japanese songs and met lots of students from other schools. We experienced and witnessed amazing skills and fluent Japanese spoken by New Zealanders. It was great fun.

After our trip we went to Japan Mart at Hornby mall. Everybody bought something Japanese to eat or drink.
