This week, twenty of our senior students worked with Safety 'N' Action, a specialised training provider, to acquire a package of NCEA credits, over the course of two days.

More importantly, students completing this course are able to prepare themselves for future employment, with a comprehensive understanding of the latest Health and Safety regulations and the skills to identify and prevent harm in the workplace. The students also gained knowledge of how to apply safe work practices and how to apply a health and safety risk assessment to a job role. 

Later this term, several of our students will have the opportunity to complete a Schools Height and Safety Introduction and Schools Confined Space course, at the Safety 'N' Action Training Centre.
