Last week, 48 senior students took advantage of the opportunity to hear from Kim Ashmore of StudyLink. Kim gave an excellent presentation on topics such as student loans, allowances, and the Fees Free Scheme.

Tessa Hope, Future Student Advisor at Victoria University, visited us earlier this week. Students who intended to enrol at Victoria in 2024 had the chance to receive individualised support, guidance, and assistance with course preparation as well as have their queries addressed.

Greg Heller from Otago University will be present to assist students with their course planning for 2024 the following week on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 1:30 PM in Room F9.

Year 12 and 13 students had the opportunity to develop and practice their interview skills with valued members of our local business community on Tuesday of this week.

This is especially important not only for future job interviews, but also for scholarship interviews and for some tertiary providers that require an interview, as part of their course acceptance requirements.

We truly appreciate the time and assistance provided by Josh from Darfield Bakery and Janelle from Darfield Automotive in making these events possible.
