Canterbury League tournament draws to a close for our Senior Boys team.
The boys finished the season with a great win over Lincoln High 36-30, led by an outstanding performance by Mason Thompson. It was a culmination of previous weeks where the boys played really well as a team and numerous players had a big part in the win.
For many of the players, this tournament was their first time playing League and I can safely say they all absolutely loved it!
From week 1 of the tournament to the last game, the boys improved dramatically.
It was great to see so many interested in playing League and hopefully with the continued popularity of the sport, this is just the beginning of it here at Darfield High. Up the Wahs!
