10 Te Reo Māori class - Tukutuku panels

The Year 10 Te Reo Māori class have been looking at the meanings behind the patterns used in tukutuku panels, how they were traditionally used and rauemi | resources that were used to create them. 

They have designed their own panel using an Excel spreadsheet and are just starting to create their designs on peg board using raffia.
