The Break Builders team with Nathan Scott from Cyclone and Connor McHoull from Microsoft

Inaugural eSports

On Tuesday, DHS hosted the inaugural Malvern eSports competition. Tamariki from Year 5 through to Year 8 competed against each other in teams to collect the most nectar on the Minecraft Education ‘Busy Bees’ platform. Congratulations to the Year 7 team ‘The Break Builders’ who took out third place! Thanks to Cyclone and Microsoft for supporting and sponsoring this fantastic event that brought together 72 tamariki from across our kāhui ako.
