Darfield High School was fortunate to be included in a Schools Delegation in Thailand and Vietnam recently.
The events organised by Christchurch Educated were to reconnect Canterbury schools with a number of schools in Thailand.
These events are incredibly important for these schools as it enables their students the chance to travel abroad and once again re-connect with other schools. The meetings at the schools are very formal, and the welcoming by the staff and the students was an incredible experience for the representatives from Canterbury to participate in. Some of the students had waited for over an hour to welcome us and show their traditional costumes and dance. We look forward to welcoming new students to DHS next year.
