We also used this time to to Farewell two of our students. Takumi has been at Darfield High for three years and has been a well liked and valuable member of the International Department and main school. He is finally going home to see his family and can't wait to enjoy some Japanese food. We will miss Takumi and we look forward to seeing him around next year when he begins at Lincoln University. We also farewell Pai who will starting school in Christchurch next year. Thank you Pai for your lovely speech last night and good luck at your new school. 

We are very excited to welcome our new students next year and giving our local students the change to make some fantastic life long friends. Cultural Ambassador applications are now open for senior students and I encourage any student who would like to be involved to apply.
