Being Ready to Learn is essential for student engagement, achievement, and success at school.

Having worked with only five principals during this time, Jill says she has loved her job, seeing students progress through the school as new entrants and returning these days as the parent and sometimes grandparent of current students.

Year 9 and 10 Raranga | weaving students are exhibiting is on until Wednesday 10 April at the Darfield High School library. All welcome!

The first set of CAA exams are 27-29th May, with a second attempt available in September.

We have welcomed six students to Darfield and nine to Ellesmere College. The students have been with us for four weeks and leave us tomorrow. During their time here they have taken part in class room activities along with many fun outings in Christchurch and surroundings. The highlight of their time was a trip to Queenstown where they got to experience the local attractions as well as tasting some of the locals treats. We wish them a safe trip back to Thailand and we look forward to continuing this partnership with a wonderful company.
