Year 9 Science

In class, we have been learning about light and reflection. We've been using mirrors to reflect and bend light. We’ve also been learning about how light travels through our eyes. As well as the different parts of our eye and what it does. In a practical, we got the opportunity to dissect a cows eye. It was a very fun process, especially watching other people squirm when all the gooey stuff came out of it. Cutting open the eye to see the inside was the hardest part as we had to cut through muscle to access the lens and pupil.
