Advanced Work-Based First Aid Training Course
On Monday of this week, 17 of our students had the opportunity to acquire their Advanced Work-Based First Aid Certificate.
The course was delivered by Darfield High School's preferred first aid training provider, Life Care Consultants Limited. Students completed the theory and practical requirements of a compulsory set of unit standards to qualify as workplace first aiders for the next two years.
Former student and professional workplace first aid trainer, Thomas Meder, led the students through their learning and their three assessments. The third first aid course, is scheduled for later this term.
