Want a say on how things are run around here?

The Board of Trustees would like to co-opt an additional Student trustee to join us. Expressions of Interest are requested from Years 9 - 13 students.

Student elections took place in term 3 and we welcomed Arran Armstrong to our Board as the new student representative. We would like to add to the skills and experience he brings by co-opting a second student until September 2024.

Student representatives have equal standing, voice, accountabilities and voting rights on the board. We find real value in being able to share their knowledge around the board table and they bring different points of view and experiences, which influences better outcomes for the whole school community.

If you would like an opportunity to be considered, please email the board secretary, elaine@darfield.school.nz expressing what skills and experience you feel you can bring to add to the student voice.
