Pikelet Plating Competition
Year 12 and 9 students compete head-to-head to plate the best looking pikelets.
Students in the current Year 9 Food and Nutrition class were put through their paces competing against Year 12s to see who could plate the best three pikelets. Students were judged on how well their pikelets were presented, cooked and what garnishes they used. There were some fabulous presentations and only three points between first place and third place. Year 12s Emma Cunningham and Lilly Gilbertson took away first prize with their beautifully presented pikelets (cover image).
