Checking DHS Emails

It is important that you are receiving emails sent from Darfield High School. Any emails with:@darfield.school.nz or @darfield.school.kiwi need to be whitelisted or added to "not spam" or safe sender. Sometimes bulk emails end up in a promotions or your spam folder. It is important that we have your correct contact details; please let us know of any changes.

Reporting Absences/Sick Students

Please let us know if your student is going to be absent. To report an absence, telephone the school on 318 8411 and leave a message, or email absences@darfield.school.nz

Lost Property

Any items mislaid or lost are normally collected by cleaning staff and delivered into the office to Kylie, but this takes time. Please retrace your steps in the first instance but always check with Kylie.

School Buses

Any changes to your student's normal daily bus routine should be communicated directly with our Bus Controller, Amy Tangney, via email at@darfield.school.nz

She will contact you directly only if there is any issue with the change.
Bus maps are on our website, if you are experiencing issues accessing them via your phone, Google Chrome is more reliable than Safari.

2023 DHS School Magazine

If you ordered and paid for a 2023 Magazine, but haven't collected it, you can still pick it up from Kylie in the office.

All financial account queries should be addressed to accounts@darfield.school.nz Information can be accessed via the financial tab on the Kamar portal. Receipts can also be obtained directly via the portal.
