Gillette Cup Cricket

It was full on for our Cricketers at the beginning of Term 1 who played in the annual Gillette Cup Series.  The team were set to played 3 games in three days in one week but then it rained and the games spilled over into week 4.  Most of the players are from Year 11 and they came up against some very seasoned players from Lincoln HS, Rolleston College and Rangiora High School.  Though they lost all their games their was some great cricket played.

Thanks to Simon Earl for Managing the team and to the Darfield Cricket Club for allowing us to use their grass pitch for two of our three games.
