Canterbury Secondary Schools Golf Championships

Well done to Liam Page and Harvey Youdale for representing Darfield High School in the recent Canterbury Secondary Schools Golf Champs at Templeton.

Due to Covid, it has been a couple of years since this event was played. We couldn't quite field a full team, so our players took part in the individual competition.

Its great to golf being played at DHS again, watch out to coaching sessions being offered later in the year.

Canterbury Secondary Schools Swimming Championships

Four students took part in the Canterbury Secondary Schools Swimming Champs at Jellie Park - for two of our year 9 students, Sonny Bill McAndrew and Poppy Molloy this was their first Senior swimming event and they did very well in their races, swimming in one age group event and one open event against year 13 swimmers.

Volleyball - Weekly Summer Sport

This term we started with two Senior Volleyball teams playing in the Wednesday Competition.

It was great to get a couple of home games against our neighbouring school, Oxford.  Thanks to Steven Henderson for helping out with the teams - you will be missed
