Staff v Year 13 Annual Netball contest

The staff once again displayed their dominance in the sporting arena, teachers reverting back to their 23-year-old selves in a 15-4 victory on the netball court this afternoon. Carrie Whyte & Shawn Gough paced the team in scoring, showing excellent chemistry with their fellow mid-court players for easy setups and scores. The defense was well stacked also with Jared Peacock and Andy Lee protecting their hoop at all costs. With a combined height of 13ft, there was little hope for the students. Marty McDonald, Megan Evans, Tom Martin, Anna Lee, Shelley Boyes, Jason Dickens & Tom Manley dominated in the mid-court, leaving the students huffing and puffing as they pursued them from end to end. 

The students to their credit bought the energy and enthusiasm the game demanded. Mason Thompson was absolutely everywhere and tried as hard as he could to lift the tempo out of reach of the staff.
