International BBQ Fiesta

Last Friday night we welcomed 105 students, homestays, agents and friends to the International department for a BBQ held at school.

Our theme for the night was "Celebrating Achievement" For us it was celebrating the growth of our department. We have allowed our programme to gradually build up to where it is today. Slow growth had given us time to get all of our staffing, procedures and fine-tune our groups to where they align with the Main school.

We also farewell 3 of our long-term students who leave us this term. We have loved watching them embrace many activities at DHS and we wish them a safe journey home.

This term we welcomed 33 students to our Department. For some, it will be for 3 weeks for others they are part way being with us for 3 years. Whatever their time frame is we love having them with us and being part of the Darfield journey.
