Dave Kempton Memorial Unsung Hero Trophy
Acknowledgment of someone within the Selwyn Schools team who is a true team man
Last Saturday celebrated the Selwyn Schools Rugby prizegiving, two of our Year 13 students Mason Thompson (21 caps) and Louis Ridgen (15 caps) have both been members of the Selwyn Combined Team and both were recognised for their commitment over the past two years.
Additionally, Mason was the inaugural recipient of the Dave Kempton Memorial Unsung Hero Award, which recognises someone who is a good allrounder, ready to help, proud of his team and would do anything for anyone, putting his team first.
An excellent honour and a testament you both your mahi boys! Ka pai!
