Can you Help?

Have you a glut of fresh fruit that could be preserved for our breakfast club? Do you have an hour to spare? Or can you follow a recipe?

Our breakfast club is going from strength to strength! We currently provide breakfast to students on Tuesdays and Thursdays . This is enabled by the generosity of Sanitarium Weetbix and Fonterra milk. Some of our staff produce additional tasty treats like Weetbix slices and cookies or tins of fruit to accompany a cereal brekkie.

This initiative has plenty of room to grow but we need your assistance. Breakfast is often called 'the most important meal of the day', and for good reason. It replenishes your supply of glucose to boost your energy levels and alertness, while also providing other essential nutrients required for good health and most importantly, learning.

We can expand this to serve our kura with your help.
Do you have an hour (at interval 10.45 to 11.45) that you could regularly offer us so we can provide breakfast to students every weekday? Are your fruit trees currently overloaded and could this fruit be preserved/stewed to offer to students with their cereal? Could you prepare some tasty treats if we provided you with the Weetbix and/or recipes?

We would love to hear from you if you can answer yes to any of the above! Get in contact with Pip or Lynda.
