Today we have waved farewell to a fabulous group of 14 students who have spent the last three weeks learning more about our culture, foods, traditions, sights and of course both English and Māori languages.
They spent time learning how to make putiputi | flowers with traditional flax leaves | harakiki. They also enjoyed learning waiata from members of our kapahaka group.
Thank you to all the Darfield High School buddies - you have certainly shown manakitaanga to our visitors.
